Your Memorial Journey
Step 1
Choose Your Memorial
Browse David's handcrafted memorial collection and select the piece that feels right for your loved one. Whether it's a pendant, marble, sculpture, or touchstone, every memorial is individually created one at a time.
Once your order is placed, you'll receive an order confirmation and we'll begin preparing everything needed for the next step.
Step 2
Receive Your Cremains Collection Kit
Within a short time, we'll mail you a cremains collection kit with everything you'll need.
Inside you'll find:
Collection vial
Funnel
Clear instructions
Return shipping label
USPS Priority Express packaging
Identification labels
We only require approximately 1/8 teaspoon for most memorials.
Step 3
Return a Small Portion
Carefully place the requested amount into the provided vial and return it using the enclosed shipping materials. Your remaining cremated remains stay with your family. Only a very small amount is needed to create your memorial.
You'll receive tracking throughout the shipping process if you ship via USPS standards for cremated remains mail.
Your loved one's cremated remains are handled with the utmost care and respect from the moment they arrive until your memorial is complete.
Step 4
David Handcrafts Your Memorial
Once your cremated remains arrive safely, David begins creating your memorial by hand.
Every memorial is individually crafted, so no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
No mass production.
Each memorial is created personally by David using techniques refined through more than twenty years of artistic experience.
Step 5
Receive Your Memorial
Once complete, your memorial is carefully inspected, packaged, and shipped back to you.
Many families tell us this is the moment everything becomes real.
Holding a memorial created from someone they love often brings comfort in a way words cannot fully describe.
Your artwork is ready to become part of birthdays, anniversaries, family traditions, holidays, everyday moments, and future generations.
Step 6
Your Loved One's Remaining Cremated Remains
After your memorial is complete, any unused cremated remains are treated with the same care and respect they received throughout the entire process.
We securely retain the remaining cremated remains for 90 days after your memorial is completed. This gives families the opportunity to order additional memorials for children, siblings, parents, or friends without needing to send another collection kit.
At the end of the 90 day period, you have several options:
Return Them to You
If you would like the remaining cremated remains returned, we're happy to send them back using secure shipping. There is a fee for returned shipping, which is calculated at the current USPS standard rate for shipping Cremated Remains.
Create Additional Memorials
Many families choose to create additional keepsakes during this time, allowing multiple loved ones to have a meaningful memorial while only sending cremated remains once.
Respectful Local Scattering
If you prefer not to have the remaining cremated remains returned, we can respectfully scatter them in a peaceful natural setting here in Florida, following all applicable local regulations.
If you're unsure what you'd like to do, simply let us know. We're happy to discuss the options with you and help you choose the one that feels right for your family.
Whatever you choose, we'll always honor your wishes with dignity, care, and respect.
More Than a Memorial, A Continuing Journey
When your memorial arrives, our hope is that it becomes more than a keepsake.
We hope it becomes part of your family's story.
Whether it's displayed in your home, carried in your pocket, worn close to your heart, or taken on adventures to places your loved one cherished, every memorial continues a story that deserves to be remembered.
There is no right or wrong way to honor someone you love. Every family remembers differently, and every journey is beautifully unique.
For many families, a memorial becomes the beginning of new traditions. It might be carried on a favorite hiking trail, placed beside a holiday candle each year, held during quiet moments of reflection, or passed from one generation to the next as a lasting reminder of a life well lived.
The memorial may be complete, but the love, the memories, and the legacy continue.
Share Your Story
Every memorial has a story, and we would be honored to hear yours.
If you feel comfortable sharing, we'd love to learn about the person you're remembering, the memories that make you smile, and how your memorial has become part of your family's journey.
With your permission, your story may be featured in Beyond the Urn, where we share heartfelt stories of remembrance, meaningful traditions, and the many ways families continue celebrating the lives of those they love.
Our hope is that these stories offer comfort, inspiration, and the gentle reminder that no one walks the journey of grief alone.

How much cremated remains are returned?
Every memorial requires only a very small amount of cremated remains. Any unused portion will either be returned to you or respectfully scattered according to your preference.
